Here are some pictures from dropping by the Tail of the Dragon, aka Deal's Gap, aka US Rt. 129 on my way home from another trip. I arrived at the Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort from the North end of the Dragon and had a nice ride in. Just after I arrived, the sky opened up and rain the proverbial cats and dogs on me. I hung out for a little bit and had lunch, then suited up in my rain gear and rode back out the same direction, then continued on up Rt. 129 back to the I-40 to continue home.
