Today I brought home my new 2008 Harley-Davidson (Poor Mr. Davidson always gets left out) FLHX Street Glide. The bike was delivered completely stock with no additional options, painted in Harley's White-Gold Pearl.

In the sunlight, this bike absolutely glows and throws off gold and blue and green. It's absolutely gorgeous.

I've got a few parts on order to customize it:

Passenger floorboards to replace the stock pegs
Slightly taller (9") windshield

I'll be adding heated grips and at some point finding a way to wire in my electronics and mount my GPS.

Today I installed the RAM ball mounts onto the inner fairing. I'll finish up the wiring for this project later. Pictures and write up are here

Well, I wadded up the Street Glide yesterday (Sunday the 6th). Details and pictures can be found at the on the bike damage page. Yay, fun and good times (he said while pounding his head on the wall).
